Project Finance

Project Finance
Project
Finance is the financing of long-term infrastructure, industrial
projects and public services based upon a non-recourse or limited
recourse financial structure where project debts and equity used to
finance the project are paid back from the cash flow generated by the
project. Project Finance is in form of long term debts, debenture,
domestic & external commercial borrowing.
FCCB & GDR
Foreign
Currency Convertible Bonds are optionally convertible bonds issued in a
currency other than Indian Rupees. A convertible bond is a mix between a
debt and equity instrument. It acts like a bond by making regular
coupon and principal payments, but these bonds also give the bondholder
the option to convert the bond into shares at the expiry of the term of
the Bond.
Global Depository Receipt means any instrument in the
form of a depository receipt or certificate created by the overseas
depository bank outside India and issued to non-resident investors
against the issue of ordinary shares of the Issuing Company. Global
Depository Receipt facilitates trade of shares, especially those from
emerging markets. Prices of GDR's are often close to values of
underlying shares.
We at GOC offer services to assist companies to raise funds through international markets in the form of FCCBs and / or GDR.
